Rural Electric Cooperative Association manages personal information

We use this information as anonymous aggregate data to
determine the number of visitors to different sections of our sites and to help
us make our sites more useful.
We do not use this information to track or record
information about individuals. We do not use “cookies” or
tracking mechanisms that collect personally identifying information on our
sites. A "cookie" is a small text file that a website can place on your
computer's hard drive in order to collect information about your activities on a

you sign up to receive WRECA
newsletter, your name, mailing address and email
address are added to our mailing list so that we may send you the publication.
The newsletter will be sent by email. Your mailing address will allow us to contact you by a method other than email if necessary. Optionally you may include additional information that will better help us
reach you, understand your interests and how you found out about us. You may
update your contact information or remove your name from our mailing list at any
time by sending an email info@wreca.coop.
If you contact us by mail, phone or email to order
publications, we will only use the information you provide to fulfill
your order or contact you about your order. Alliance reports and other documents
can be requested by calling

If you voluntarily provide us with personal
information as part of an online survey, we will use it to perform
various quantitative and qualitative analyses to improve our services. We may
forward the information to contracted personnel who will analyze the collected
data. You are under no obligation to participate in such surveys.
Non-participation will not inhibit your use of our website in any way.
WRECA has a strict no-spam
policy. Email addresses of those who send spam through our website are
automatically linked to the sender’s numerical Internet Protocol address. We
then use this information to take appropriate action against the sender. “Spam”
generally refers to unwanted advertising emails.

contact another organization, you are subject to the privacy policy of that

If we are

disclosure. We will attempt to provide this notice by email, if you have given
us an email address, or by postal mail if you have entered a postal address. We
will independently object to overly broad requests for access to information
about users of our site. If you do not challenge the disclosure request, we may
be legally required to turn over your information.
